Sensitive data, or personal data, is processed via our webshop. Blue Rivet BV considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

In our processing, we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. That also means that we:

· Limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;

2. Your account

For certain parts of our webshop you must first register. You will then need to provide information about yourself and choose a username. We use this to create an account, which you can log in to with that username and a password of your choice. For this we use your name and address details and email address. We do this on the basis of your permission. We will keep this information until you cancel the account.

We keep this information so that you do not have to fill it in again and again and so that we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement. You can change information through your account whenever you want.

We work with certain companies that may receive your personal data from us mentioned above.

 3. Handling order

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to be able to handle it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this we use your name and address details, telephone number, billing address, e-mail address and payment details. We do this on the basis of your permission. We keep this information until your order has been completed. We keep certain customer data longer in connection with the statutory fiscal retention obligation.

4. Posting reviews on the website

You can leave a review for us. We use the necessary personal data to publish the review on the website. For this we use your e-mail address and nickname. We do this on the basis of your permission. We keep this information until the end of the contract.

5. Advertising

We would like to send you advertising about offers and new products or services. This is what we do:

You can object to this advertising at any time. Each email contains an unsubscribe link. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option. You can also pass this on via your account.

Location Information

We may collect location information (GPS) from you if necessary for the service. Your permission will be requested for this at the moment.

This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/maps software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no control over that. So always read the privacy statements of the relevant provider.

6. Advertisements

Our webshop shows advertisements. We do not publish these ourselves, advertising agencies with which we work do that. These agencies keep track of whether you like them, and use that information to provide only fun or interesting advertisements and offers in the future.

7. Provision to other companies or institutions

With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police require this in case of a suspicion of a crime).

We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our web store. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. It contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. We let Google anonymize the IP addresses.

Our website may contain (a number of) hyperlinks that lead to websites that are maintained by third parties. We cannot accept any responsibility for the content of these websites and for the way in which these websites deal with your data. Security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured with us. We constantly adjust the security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.
